Planning your Istanbul night around the cruise
The cruise takes the middle of the evening: boarding at 20:00, back at the pier around 23:45. Here is how to fill the hours before and after so the whole night works.
| Time | Plan |
|---|---|
| Late afternoon | Kabataş sits between Beşiktaş and Taksim. Dolmabahçe Palace is next door (check its closing time before you go); the Beşiktaş fish market and the waterfront cafés are a ten-minute walk from the pier. |
| 18:00 – 19:30 | Skip a big early dinner — a ten-meze spread and a main course are waiting on board. A tea by the water or a walk up to Taksim through Gümüşsuyu is enough. |
| 19:30 – 20:00 | Transfer guests are collected from their hotel lobby. Everyone else: the tram (T1) and the Taksim–Kabataş funicular both stop at the pier — see how to reach Kabataş. |
| 20:00 – 23:45 | On the boat: meze while moored, departure at 21:00, dinner and the eight-act show on the water, live saxophone and DJ on the way back. |
| After midnight | Transfer guests are met at the pier exit. Taxis wait at Kabataş; Taksim is a short ride up the hill, Beşiktaş nightlife is walkable along the shore. |
