The dinner

Dinner is served at your table, and the first plates arrive while the boat is still at the pier:

  • 10 cold mezes — classic Turkish starters to share
  • Hot starter: börek, a crisp filled pastry
  • Main course with seasonal salad and garnish — your choice of salmon, sea bass, chicken skewer or beef skewer
  • Dessert: semolina halva, a traditional Turkish sweet

Vegetarians get their own plate: falafel, fried potatoes, bulgur pilaf, boiled vegetables and onion rings. See what you eat, course by course.

Unlimited soft drinks

Water, cola and fruit juice are unlimited for every guest, children included, throughout the evening. Alcohol is not part of the base price — see the drinks options.

The live show and after-party

An 8-act programme runs in the salon during dinner: Oba Dombra (Central Asian shaman rhythm), the Mevlana whirling dervish ceremony, the Sarı Gelin Anatolian folk dance, an Azerbaijani medley, a belly dance, a Turkish/Anatolian medley and the Georgian Gandagan with the Caucasian knife dance. Live saxophone and a DJ close the evening. The running order can vary slightly from night to night. More about each act and where it comes from.

The cruise itself

The boat leaves Kabataş at 21:00 and sails north past Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace and Ortaköy Mosque, under the illuminated Bosphorus Bridge towards Bebek and Rumeli Fortress, then returns along the Asian shore past Beylerbeyi Palace and Üsküdar. The exact route can vary with sea conditions. You can watch from the enclosed, climate-controlled salons or step out onto the open upper terrace, and free Wi-Fi is available on board.
